Dr. Pramod Agrawal is CEO and Co-founder of SaXcell BV, a company developing sustainable cellulose fibres from waste textiles. SaXcell produces regenerated lyocell fibres made from discarded cotton rich textiles, supporting the transition toward a more circular textile industry.

Dr. Agrawal is a technopreneur with more than 25 years of international experience in sustainable innovation, material science, biotechnology, and textile technology. His work combines research, product development, scale-up, and industry collaboration across Europe and Asia.

He is an inventor on multiple international patents and has contributed to scientific publications and international conferences in the fields of sustainable textiles, biotechnology, and circular materials.

At SaXcell, he works on scaling textile-to-textile recycling solutions through partnerships across the textile value chain, helping reduce water, land, and chemical use in fibre production.
