Curiosity and passion are the two most distinguishing traits of Andrea Rosso’s personality. Born and raised in Bassano del Grappa, Andrea relishes living in his hometown where he can be close to his friends and family, and the lifelong creature comforts that fuel his creativity. Music, graphic art and flea markets are all important pursuits that help him steer his passion to exciting new heights. Andrea is a descendant of Diesel, so it comes as no surprise that he was instinctively drawn to the fashion business. In preparation, he studied pattern cutting in Padua, Italy, but it was while studying English in California that he discovered a love for nonconformist skills such as graphics, art and a passion for all things vintage. From there, he went on to New York to study Textile Development and Marketing at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and ultimately, to begin conceiving his role inside the family business.

Andrea is the Creative Director of Diesel Living collection; Initially launched in 2008 as an assortment of home textiles, the Diesel Living collection extends the brand’s lifestyle and attitude to a now vast world of design, adopting important long-term partnerships with leading players in the interior design field: Moroso for furniture, Lodes for lighting, Scavolini for kitchen and bathroom, Iris Ceramica for ceramic tiles and Berti for wooden flooring, Seletti for home accessories and Mirabello Carrara for home linens. He coordinates the creative design team in the development of new products, guiding the image with the aim to build a truly complete lifestyle brand.

In 2014 Andrea launched his own fashion project collecting all his passions: MYAR, a collection of used military originals that Andrea procured personally in vintage markets and visited old depots hunting for functional details and fabrics and accessories no longer in production. After being sartorially refashioned, each garment acquires a contemporary fit and brings the history of the past into the present, looking into a future use.

2020 marks a new beginning for Diesel and Andrea, taking on new roles in the form of Diesel Sustainability Ambassador. In January 2020, Diesel launched the brands ‘For Responsible Living’ strategy, a commitment to taking actions for the benefit of current and future generations.

With Andrea’s passion and enthusiasm for a more sustainable future leading the way, the launch of ‘For Responsible Living’ signified the beginning of a meaningful journey for Diesel. Building upon its philosophy and positive disruptive outlook, Diesel formally committed to implementing a responsible business strategy that is respectful of people and the planet.

Ellen Hodakova Larsson is a Swedish fashion designer and the visionary founder of the fashion brand Hodakova. Raised in Sweden, Larsson’s upbringing was steeped in a culture of creativity and resourcefulness. Her mother’s practice of repurposing items—transforming lamps, furniture, and even clothing into new creations—instilled in her the belief that materials have multiple lives and should be reused rather than discarded. This ethos of upcycling became a central principle in Larsson’s approach to design.

Originally trained in sculpture and painting, Larsson’s artistic background greatly influenced her transition into fashion design. The profound connection between human communication and objects, interest her driving force in her fashion career. In 2021, Larsson founded Hodakova with a mission to challenge the traditional fashion system.. Her work is known for its innovative approach to upcycling, transforming discarded materials into avant-garde, luxury pieces that bridge the gap between art,
craftsmanship and environmental responsibility.

Larsson’s designs often feature garments crafted from second-hand belts, vintage zippers, and repurposed textiles. One of the most striking aspects of her collections is the reimagining of landscape paintings as wearable art, where she extracts textures and forms from the paintings and transforms them into high-fashion garments. Each piece tells a story, blending memories from the past with Larsson’s
forward-thinking, sculptural designs.

A core theme in Larsson’s work is self-expression and empowerment through clothing. Drawing inspiration from her father’s military background and her own equestrian experiences, Larsson frequently incorporates uniform-like elements into her designs. These structured, sculptural pieces aim to empower individuals by encouraging confidence and self-acceptance. Larsson challenges the fleeting trends of the fashion world, urging people to embrace their individuality and reject the insecurities that often accompany trends.

Beyond her artistic vision, Larsson has also made significant strides in addressing the scalability of sustainable fashion. Hodakova has a sophisticated infrastructure in place that ensures each piece is unique while maintaining reproducibility. Larsson is also pioneering the use of new technology to improve the sorting and reuse of materials, aiming to streamline the process and make it more efficient on a global
scale.

Despite international success, Larsson has chosen to remain based in Stockholm, where she enjoys a quieter, more grounded life close to nature, family, and animals. This lifestyle allows her to stay connected to her creative instincts and intuition, which continue to drive the evolution of her work. Through Hodakova, Ellen Hodakova Larsson has established herself as a leader in the sustainable fashion movement. Her commitment to craftsmanship, innovative design, and environmental responsibility is
redefining what it means to create luxury fashion in the modern world. creativity with sustainability.
