Krelyne Andrew is Sustainability Head for Verve, Sappi’s global dissolving wood pulp brand serving the fashion and pharmaceutical industries.  She has been with Sappi for 22 years with Sappi with prior experience in R&D, Technical Service, Business Support.

Krelyne brings in‑depth experience in advancing sustainable manufacturing and forestry across value chains. Based in South Africa, she works at the intersection of industry, sustainability practice, and community development. Under her leadership, her team convenes diverse stakeholders to strengthen water stewardship, climate resilience, and shared value in a key sourcing region for the fashion and pharmaceutical sectors.

Krelyne holds an Honours degree in Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and completed the Programme for Management Development at the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business. She also holds a Sustainability Practioner certificate through the University of Cambridge, Institute for Sustainability Leadership. She is recognised for convening actors across supply networks to strengthen water stewardship, climate resilience, and shared value in sourcing landscapes
